About the Journal
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is undergoing rapid technological transformation, with robotics and automation emerging as critical drivers of industrial growth, healthcare innovation, and sustainable development. Despite this momentum, the region lacks a dedicated platform to consolidate cutting-edge research, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and address region-specific challenges such as tropical environmental adaptability, SME-driven manufacturing, and agricultural automation.
The ASEAN Robotics and Automation Journal (ARAJ) aims to fill this gap by serving as a premier open-access, peer-reviewed publication focused on advancing robotics and automation technologies within the ASEAN context. By prioritizing locally relevant applications and fostering partnerships between academia, industry, and policymakers, ARAJ will catalyze innovation while promoting equitable access to technological advancements across ASEAN member states.
The ASEAN Robotics and Automation Journal (ARAJ)will empower the region to lead in context-sensitive technological innovation while addressing global challenges. By uniting diverse stakeholders under a shared vision, ARAJ aspires to become the cornerstone of ASEAN’s Fourth Industrial Revolution.
