This study was conducted to examine the effect of artificial intelligence (AI) on the sustainable entrepreneurial process among public university students in the Klang Valley. The objectives of this study are i) to identify the level of artificial intelligence usage and the sustainable entrepreneurial process; and ii) to examine the effect of artificial intelligence on the sustainable entrepreneurial process. A quantitative method was employed in this study, involving students from public universities, including Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). A total of 300 students with business experience were selected as the study sample. The data collected were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The findings of the study indicate that artificial intelligence and sustainable entrepreneurial process are at a high level among students. The results of the linear regression analysis show that artificial intelligence contributes 58.7% (R² = 0.587) to the variation in the sustainable entrepreneurial process. The study found that artificial intelligence has a strong and significant effect on the sustainable entrepreneurial process (β = 0.766, p < 0.001). Overall, this study is expected to assist stakeholders such as students, entrepreneurs, educators, and policymakers in leveraging artificial intelligence technology to build more resilient and sustainable businesses in the future.
