This study was conducted to identify the level of parental awareness of their children's entrepreneurial careers and to test the level of parental awareness of their children's entrepreneurial careers in the Klang Valley. The study employed a quantitative approach involving 400 parents who have children aged between 13 and 25 years living in both urban and rural areas of the Klang Valley. A stratified random sampling technique was used, and data were collected through an online questionnaire. The collected data were analysed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26 to examine the relationships between the independent and dependent variables. Regression analysis revealed that the level of parental awareness contributes significantly to their children’s entrepreneurial career choices. Therefore, this study is expected to serve as a guide for parents, educators, and policymakers in enhancing awareness and support for children’s entrepreneurial careers in order to foster a more conducive and competitive entrepreneurial ecosystem in the future.
