Perkembangan pesat teknologi digital telah mengubah landskap pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP) di institusi pengajian tinggi. Senario ini mendorong pembangunan pelbagai inovasi digital bagi menyokong proses pembelajaran pelajar. Kursus Falsafah dan Isu Semasa (FIS) merupakan salah satu kursus wajib Mata Pelajaran Umum (MPU). Namun, kepelbagaian latar belakang akademik pelajar menyebabkan kesukaran untuk mendalami FIS kerana keterbatasan memahami istilah-istilah falsafah. Terdapat kekurangan sumber rujukan digital yang menghimpunkan istilah-istilah falsafah secara sistematik dan mudah diakses. Justeru, artikel ini bertujuan membincangkan pembangunan Kamus Istilah Falsafah Atas Talian sebagai satu inovasi digital. Pembangunan aplikasi ini menggunakan pendekatan Design and Development Research (DDR) dengan menekankan proses analisis keperluan, reka bentuk dan pembangunan produk. Produk ini mengintegrasikan definisi istilah, elemen multimedia dan ciri interaktif yang berpotensi menyokong pemahaman konsep falsafah. Produk dilihat mempunyai potensi untuk memperkukuhkan penguasaan istilah dan menyokong pembelajaran kendiri.
The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed the landscape of teaching and learning (T&L) in higher education institutions. This development has encouraged the adoption of various digital innovations to support student learning. Philosophy and Current Issues is one of the compulsory General Studies (MPU) courses. However, students’ diverse academic backgrounds may create difficulties in engaging with the course, particularly due to limited understanding of philosophical terminology. There remains a lack of digital reference resources that systematically compile philosophical terminology in an accessible format. Therefore, this article aims to discuss the development of an Online Philosophy Terminology Dictionary as a digital innovation. The application was developed using the Design and Development Research (DDR) approach, with emphasis on needs analysis, design, and product development. The product integrates definitions of philosophical terms, multimedia elements, and interactive features that have the potential to support students’ understanding of philosophical concepts. The product also has the potential to strengthen students’ mastery of philosophical terminology and support self-directed learning.
