PEMIKIRAN KEROHANIAN GOLONGAN REMAJA MELAYU DALAM NOVEL DESTINASI IMPIAN BERDASARKAN TEORI SPB4K: ANALISIS TERHADAP KONTROVERSI DAN KRITIKAN MASYARAKAT

THE SPIRITUAL DISCOURSE OF MALAY ADOLESCENTS IN THE NOVEL DESTINASI IMPIAN BASED ON THE SPB4K THEORY: AN ANALYSIS OF SOCIAL CONTROVERSY AND CRITICISM

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemikiran kerohanian golongan remaja Melayu dalam novel Destinasi Impian karya Mohd Ismail Sarbini. Walaupun novel ini pernah mendapat kritikan daripada masyarakat kerana kandungan watak utamanya sebagai lelaki lembut yang dianggap sensitif dalam masyarakat, kajian ini cuba menjelaskan bagaimana pemikiran kerohanian yang dibawa dalam karya tersebut boleh mempengaruhi pembentukan sahsiah remaja. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kualitatif dengan kaedah kajian kepustakaan dan analisis teks berdasarkan teori SPB4K. Instrumen kajian yang digunakan untuk mengumpul data ialah senarai semak analisis teks pemikiran kerohanian remaja berdasarkan teori SPB4K Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa meskipun terdapat kontroversi dalam naratif novel Destinasi Impian, elemen pemikiran kerohanian dalam novel ini tetap memberi kesan yang mendalam kepada perkembangan pemikiran remaja dalam menghadapi cabaran moral dan sosial. Namun, pemikiran kerohanian golongan remaja Melayu dalam novel ini masih kurang dititikberatkan oleh pengarang. Implikasinya, pihak-pihak yang berkaitan boleh menjadikan dapatan ini sebagai suatu panduan dalam memilih novel KOMSAS yang sesuai dengan psikologi dan falsafah sastera remaja agar signifikan dengan matlamat Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan (FPK).

This study aims to analyze the spiritual thinking of Malay teenagers in the novel Destinasi Impian by Mohd Ismail Sarbini. Although this novel has been criticized by the community because of its main character as a gentle man who is considered sensitive in society, this study attempts to explain how the spiritual thinking brought in the work can influence the formation of the personality of teenagers. This study uses a qualitatif design with the method of library research and text analysis based on the SPB4K theory. The research instrument used to collect data is a checklist for text analysis of teenage spiritual thinking based on the SPB4K theory. The results of the study show that despite the controversy in the narrative of the novel Destinasi Impian, the element of spiritual thinking in this novel still has a profound impact on the development of teenage thinking in facing moral and social challenges. However, the spiritual thinking of Malay teenagers in this novel is still not emphasized by the author. The implication is that relevant parties can use this finding as a guide in choosing KOMSAS novels that are suitable for the psychology and philosophy of teenage literature so that it is significant with the goals of the National Education Philosophy (FPK).
