Abstract

Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM) berusaha mencapai matlamat Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan (FPK) bagi melahirkan insan yang seimbang dari sudut intelek, rohani, emosi dan jasmani. Namun, masalah gejala sosial dan keruntuhan akhlak kalangan remaja semakin membimbangkan terutamanya dari sudut tingkah laku mereka. Hal ini kerana kepesatan peredaran zaman menjadikan masalah tingkah laku remaja meningkat bahkan semakin hari terpengaruh dengan persekitaran yang pelbagai. Persekitaran negatif mampu memberikan impak buruk terhadap akhlak remaja namun sekiranya persekitaran itu dididik dengan penghayatan agama maka akan lahirnya tingkah laku positif sehingga terbinanya sahsiah keperibadian Muslim. Oleh itu, kertas ini akan membincangkan pembangunan model keperibadian Muslim berpandukan Teori Persekitaran Ibnu Khaldun. Kajian memfokuskan Teori Persekitaran Ibnu Khaldun dan menjadikan Teori Bronfenbrenner sebagai sokongan dalam membina model keperibadian Muslim. Selain itu, bagi membangun model ini, penelitian dijalankan berdasarkan dua aspek iaitu faktor pembentukan sahsiah keperibadian Muslim dan cabaran membentuk sahsiah keperibadian Muslim. Metode kajian menggunakan kajian perpustakaan. Hasil kajian mendapati persekitaran memberikan kesan terhadap perkembangan tingkah laku seseorang. Kesimpulannya, kajian ini diharapkan dapat membantu sebagai satu rujukan dalam membina keperibadian Muslim dalam diri remaja dan menyumbang kepada penyelesaian bagi membendung tingkah laku negatif.

The Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE) in order to achieve the goal of National Education Philosophy (NEP), aiming to create individuals who are balanced and harmonious in terms of physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual aspects. However, the decline in social and morals among younger generations is in serious concern, especially their behaviour. This is because rapidity by passage of time makes adolescent behaviour problems increase even more day by day, influenced by a diverse environment. A negative environment can make a bad impact on a teenager's morals, but if the environment is full of identification with the practice of Islamic education, positive behaviour will be born and the character of Muslim personality will show. Therefore, this paper will discuss the development of Muslim personality model based on Ibnu Khaldun’s Environmental Theory. This study focuses on Ibnu Khaldun theory and also uses Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Theory as support in building a Muslim Personality Model. In order to develop this model, this research takes two main aspects which are factors in development of Muslim personality and challenge of forming Muslim personality. This study method uses library research. The results show the development of personality is influenced by their environment. In conclusion, the results of the study are expected to help as a reference in building Muslim personality in teenagers and contribution of solutions in curb negative behaviour.
