Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital telah membawa kepada perubahan dalam sistem pendidikan global termasuklah pendekatan pentaksiran yang mana kaedah pentaksiran dalam talian (PDT) semakin mendapat tempat dalam kalangan pendidik. Pelaksanaan PDT yang disokong oleh teknologi pengawasan berasaskan kecerdasan buatan (AI) merupakan salah satu inovasi yang semakin digunapakai di institusi pendidikan terutamanya Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi. Justeru itu kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti kesediaan dan penerimaan pengajar terhadap pelaksanaan PDT berasaskan pengawasan AI serta melihat hubungan antara kesediaan dan penerimaan pengajar di Institut Latihan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (ILKKM) di seluruh Malaysia. Pendekatan kajian yang digunakan adalah kajian kuantitatif secara keratan rentas  dengan menganalisis data secara deskriptif dan inferensi. Responden kajian terdiri daripada 260 orang pengajar ILKKM yang dipilih secara persampelan rawak mudah. Maklumbalas diperolehi daripada responden melalui borang soal selidik yang diedarkan secara dalam talian. Hasil dapatan kajian menunjukkan lebih 50% pengajar mempunyai tahap kesediaan dan penerimaan yang tinggi terhadap pelaksaan PDT berasaskan pengawasan AI. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kesediaan dan penerimaan p<.05 dengan kekuatan hubungan yang sederhana (r=.482). Kesimpulannya pengajar yang mempunyai kesediaan yang tinggi terhadap AI lebih terbuka untuk menerima penggunaannya dalam konteks pentaksiran.

The advancement of digital technology has led to changes in the global education system, including assessment approaches, with online assessment methods increasingly gaining traction among tutors. The implementation of online assessment based on artificial intelligence (AI) proctoring  is one of the innovations that is increasingly being adopted in educational institutions, particularly in higher education institutions. Therefore, this study aims to identify the readiness and acceptance of tutors towards the implementation of online assessment based on AI proctoring and to determine the relationship between readiness and acceptance among tutors at the Institut Latihan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (ILKKM) across Malaysia. This study employed a quantitative cross-sectional approach with descriptive and inferential data analysis. The study respondents comprised 260 tutors from ILKKM selected through simple random sampling. Feedback was obtained via an online questionnaire distributed to the respondents. The findings of the study show that more than 50% of educators have a high level of readiness and acceptance towards the implementation of online assessment based on AI proctoring. A significant relationship was found between readiness and acceptance (p<.05), with a moderate correlation strength (r=.482). In conclusion, tutors with higher readiness towards AI are more open to accepting its use in the context of assessment.
