Abstract

In the era of high-quality advancement, the synchronization of assets, ecosystems, and prosperity has gained significant prominence for ecological transition and enduring progress. This synthesis integrates domestic and foreign literature regarding theoretical bases, appraisal metrics, quantification techniques, and driving factors. Primary methodologies fulfill diverse objectives: the degree of coupling coordination evaluates subsystem integration; entropy weighting alongside TOPSIS facilitate holistic assessment and prioritization; DEA/SBM calculates productivity under ecological and environmental limitations; and geographic and econometric frameworks uncover spatial diversity and diffusion impacts. Three primary deficits are recognized: divergent assessment benchmarks, inadequate temporal and mechanism-focused investigation, and restricted focus on novel catalysts and global contrasts. Subsequent inquiry must enhance metric consistency, reinforce multi-level temporal scrutiny, and incorporate multi-origin spatial information, artificial intelligence, and spatial econometrics. By defining the utility and constraints of key strategies, this analysis offers a pragmatic framework for choosing variables and tools for resource–environment–economy alignment evaluation.
