Abstract

Faktor persekitaran berupaya meningkatkan pencapaian pelajar dalam memahami isi pembelajaran serta dapat meningkatkan tahap penguasaan kemahiran bertutur bahasa Arab. Persekitaran pembelajaran yang sesuai lagi kondusif juga memainkan peranan penting dalam penguasaan kemahiran bertutur bahasa Arab pelajar. Namun dalam realiti pembelajaran bahasa Arab, walaupun para pelajar telah banyak didedahkan dengan pelbagai kaedah pembelajaran serta buku teks yang menarik, namun aspek pertuturan seringkali menjadi cabaran kerana pelajar sering berasa tidak yakin, tidak fasih dan kurang penguasaan kosa kata rentetan daripada persekitaran pembelajaran yang masih lagi kurang memberi impak yang maksimum terhadap penguasaan kemahiran bertutur. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk meninjau persekitaran bertutur bahasa Arab dalam kalangan murid di Sekolah Rendah Agama Integrasi (SRAI) Selangor. Bagi memperoleh data, kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kualitatif iaitu dengan menemu bual guru-guru bahasa Arab yang berpengalaman seramai 8 orang dari Sekolah Rendah Agama Integrasi (SRAI) Selangor yang mewakili setiap daerah di Negeri Selangor. Hasil dapatan menunjukkan bahawa tahap kemahiran bertutur bahasa Arab dalam kalangan pelajar dan persekitaran sekolah masih memerlukan kepada penambahbaikan dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kemahiran bertutur. Oleh itu, usaha dalam mewujudkan persekitaran bertutur bahasa Arab di sekolah ini dapat dilaksanakan dengan jayanya melalui kerjasama semua pihak yang terlibat. 

Environmental factors are capable of enhancing students’ achievement in understanding learning content as well as improving their mastery of Arabic speaking skills. A suitable and conducive learning environment also plays a crucial role in students’ acquisition of Arabic speaking proficiency. However, in the reality of Arabic language learning, even though students have been widely exposed to various learning methods and interesting textbooks, speaking skills often remain a challenge because students frequently feel insecure, lack fluency, and have limited vocabulary. This is largely due to a learning environment that has yet to provide maximum impact on the mastery of speaking skills. The purpose of this study is to examine the Arabic-speaking environment among pupils in Integrated Religious Primary Schools (SRAI) in Selangor. To collect data, this study employed a qualitative method by interviewing eight experienced Arabic language teachers from SRAI representing each district in the state of Selangor. The findings indicate that students’ Arabic speaking proficiency and the school environment still require improvement in order to enhance mastery of speaking skills. Therefore, efforts to establish an Arabic-speaking environment in these schools can be successfully implemented through the cooperation of all parties involved.
