Abstract

This paper intends to contribute to the human resource management (HRM) literature pertaining to the green topic. Based on the review of literature on green HRM, green competencies and green performance, a model is presented and three main hypotheses will be tested in future. This framework can be used by practitioners, specifically human resource managers to develop green competencies among employees towards organizational growth and environmental sustainability. The future results of the research will provide useful insights in the Green HRM area in Malaysia.
